Equilibrium Apparatus (Vertical Force)
This apparatus incorporates a patented eye and lug assembly that automatically brings coplanar forces into a concurrent relationship and equilibrium. With this unit, experimental error of 1% or less can be obtained. Being vertical, this unit is ideal for full class demonstrations, contrary to standard force tables. Experiments demonstrating the parallelogram method of adding forces can be exercised. Includes the study of translational equilibrium and models of equilibrium and problems involving 3 and 4 coplanar forces. Everything is provided, including: wood base with support rods, string, weight set, 3 protractor units, 3 bearing pulleys, 2 nylon lugs and instruction manual. |
